Window World showed off its motorcycles for charity during the chopper tour at the Austintown Quaker Steak and Lube bike night June 28.

“We’re getting the word out about St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and Window World Cares. To me, it’s more important to do this than business. We have been a platinum sponsor since 2008. Every year, we have a Christmas party at St. Jude’s. Window World raises about $2 million. I think it’s all about giving back. We’re not really struggling so we’re able to do that,” said Window World co-owner Pat Moran Sr.

The event included some of its popular motorcycles, which included the St. Jude’s Dream Bike and the Veterans Airlift Command (VAC) Bike. Both of these bikes have been showcased on different episodes of the television show “American Chopper.” The bikes were built in honor of the Window World Cares charity foundation, according to Marketing and Communication Director Gina Shumer.

Quaker Steak and Lube Marketing Manager Danielle Hall was thrilled to share the spotlight with Window World in the name of charity.

“We’re huge in giving back, and to be partnering with someone who is doing the same thing as us is wonderful. I think it’s a great night to have Window World here and they’ve picked a great night to come out. Those bikes are beautiful – I’m excited,” said Hall.
