July 1

Recovered property: A wallet was recovered at Kirk Road and Turner Road.

Theft: $39 in gasoline was stolen at the BP gas station, 3107 S. Canfield-Niles Road. July 2

Unauthorized use: An ex-girlfriend is accused of unauthorized use of personal property at a home in the 100 block of Atlanta Avenue.

Lost or stolen property: Items were lost or stolen from a home in the 200 block of Westminster Avenue.

Theft: A car title was stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 4000 block of Pine Trace Drive.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at Fox Automotive, 1213 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Theft: An unknown amount of tools was stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Robert Frost Drive.

Inducing panic: A 14-year-old female called 911 stating that a house was burning down in the 4000 block of Plumbrook Drive.

Burglary: An air compressor and chain saw were taken from a home in the 3000 block of Lanterman Road.

Assault: An assault occurred between a man and woman at a home in the 2000 block of Birchwood Drive.

Aggravated burglary: A victim was struck in the face during a burglary at a home in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Warrant: Police arrested Derek Phillips, 31, of 4598 Washington Drive, on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic violation.

July 4

Warrant: Police arrested Stacy Polas, 38, of 5012 Winthrop Drive, on a warrant for telecommunications harassment.

Domestic violence: Police charged Marty Singleton, Jr., 33, of 5047 E. Rockwell Drive, Austintown, with the crime.

July 5

Burglary: A burglary took place in the 200 block of Parkgate Avenue.

Theft: Police charged Jennifer Stevens, 33, of 250 Idlewood Road, with the theft of $65.91 in merchandise at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: An unidentified male suspect stole items at Dollar General, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Water was stolen from a home in the 1000 block of Maplecrest Drive.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was stolen from a home in the 100 block of North Kimberly Avenue.

July 6

Assault: An assault was reported at a home in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Theft: Money was taken from a soda pop machine at the Hampton Inn, 880 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Auto theft: A black 2011 Nissan was stolen at an apartment in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road. It was later recovered by Youngstown police.

Recovered property: A red Honda racing bicycle was stolen from a home in the 300 block of New Road.

Breaking and entering: A heater core and air-conditioning unit were stolen at Bob and Chuck Eddy’s dealership, 4850 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Jewelry was taken from a home in the 5000 block of Madrid Drive.

Breaking and entering: Copper was stolen from a vacant home in the 1000 block of Marcia Drive.

July 7

Obstructing official business: Police charged Lamont Askew, 27, of 68 E. Earle Ave., Youngstown, with resisting arrest and obstructing official business.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was intentionally struck by a rock at Kirk Road and Penny Lane.

Weapons offense: Police charged Joshua Homes,26, of 507 N. Dunlap Ave., Youngstown, with failure to inform an officer of a weapon and improper handing of a firearm. Police charged Nathan Hamilton, 24, of 427 Oak Alley, McKees Rock, Pa., with drug paraphernalia, and arrested Terrance Phillips, 25, of 510 W. Boston Ave., on a warrant on two counts of receiving stolen property at the Go-Go Girls Cabaret, 5455 Clarkins Drive.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at a home in the 200 block of South Roanoke Avenue.

Warrant: Police arrested Dominic Goldner,29, of 1551 Prospect St., Mineral Ridge, on a warrant for aggravated menacing and telecommunications harassment at Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road. He also was charged with criminal trespassing at an apartment in Compass West.

Theft: A speaker and amplifier were stolen from an apartment in the 2000 block of South Raccoon Road.

July 8

Theft: A suspect was involved in theft from an auto at WalMart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Burglary: Police charged Brian Loebel, 20, of 221 Cherry Ave, Niles, with possession of criminal tools and burglary.

Criminal damaging: A window was broken at a home in the 400 block of South Edgehill Avenue.

Misuse of 911: Continuous calls to 911 were made from the Westgate Motel, 4493 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A mountain bike was stolen from Regal Cinemas, 6020 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A rear Ohio license plate was stolen from a vehicle parked at a home in the 3000 block of Frederick Street.

July 9

Felonious assault: At a home in the 100 block of Country Green Drive.

Theft: Change and papers were taken from an auto at a home in the 90 block of Kenmar Court.

Breaking and entering: Vehicle parts were taken from a vacant garage in the 1000 block of S. Meridian Road.

Recovered property: An Ohio license-plate was recovered at Aardvark, 5329 Mahoning Ave.

Recovered property: A bicycle was recovered from a home in the 100 block of North Edgehill Avenue.

Theft: Unlisted items were stolen from an auto at a home in the 40 block of East Liberty Street.

Fraud: Identity theft was reported at a home in the 80 block of North Turner Road.

Assault: A female was assaulted in the hallway of the 1000 block of Compass West apartments.

Criminal damaging: A window and door were damaged at a home in the 1000 block of North Roanoke Avenue.

Menacing: A suspect from North Carolina is believed to be involved in menacing at a home in the 3000 block of South Turner Road.

Warrant: Ronda Mahone, 47, homeless, of Cleveland, was arrested on a warrant charging failure to appear on a theft charge.

Aggravated robbery: A male with a handgun took cash at the BP station, 3107 S. Canfield-Niles Road.

Assault: A male was assaulted by his girlfriend and her brother at Billy’s, 40 S. Meridian Road.

July 10

Theft: Backpack blowers were stolen from an auto at Impact Property, 856 Ohltown Road.

Forgery: A traveler’s check was forged at Sandwich Factory, 15 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Theft: A check was cashed but work paid for was not performed at a home in the 4000 block of Woodmere Drive.

Warrant: Todd Cope, 43, of 596 Atlantic St., Warren, was arrested on a warrant charging domestic violence.

Felonious assault: A man’s ex-wife tried to run over his girlfriend at a home in the 3000 block of Ascot Court.

Theft: A clerk was short-changed at Goodwill, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

July 11

Burglary: A television and pills were stolen from a home in the 2000 block of Vollmer Drive.

Criminal trespassing: Brian Romine, 32, of 573 Miller St., Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of criminal trespassing.

Theft: Tools were stolen at Conroy’s, 3670 S. Meridian Road.

Theft: Michael Phillips, 55, of 323 Mistletoe Ave., Youngstown, was arrested for alleged theft of clothing and a laptop valued at $590.59 at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Unknown subjects took two small appliances at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

July 12

Robbery: A woman’s phone and money were taken by a male suspect at the Economy Inn, 1051 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Breaking and entering: A girl’s bicycle was taken at a home in the 6000 block of New Road.

Warrant: Myron Lard Sr., 42, of 2525 W. Flagg Road, Orwell, was arrested on a warrant charging failure to appear.

Lost or stolen property: Property was reported missing at a home in the 6000 block of Ruby Court.

Robbery: A male with a note demanding money robbed First Place Bank, 3516 S. Meridian Road.

Lost or stolen property: 60 to 70 oxycodone pills were reported missing at an apartment in the 800 block of Compass West.

Burglary: A home in the 6000 block of Fairview Road was burglarized.

Receiving stolen property: A stolen sign was discovered at a home in the 1000 block of Ohltown Road.

Telecommunications harassment: A female is a suspect in telecommunications harassment at a home in the 1000 block of Woodland Trace.

Drug offense: Anthony Shaffer, 25, of 4405 Plumbrook Drive, Canfield, was arrested on a charge of possession of dangerous drugs, including one suboxone, and two Tramadol and marijuana.

Criminal damaging: There were seven victims of criminal damaging at the Split Level Bar, 169 Four Mile Run Road.

July 13

Theft: A set of golf clubs was stolen from an auto at Walmart.

Burglary: A rear bedroom window was broken out but nothing was taken at a home in the 2000 block of Karen Court.

Theft: Video games were stolen from a home in the 300 block of Forest Hill Drive.

Recovered property: A bicycle was found at Something Unique 4U, 5865 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A white and red bicycle was stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Dunbar Avenue.

Theft: 20 keys were taken at an apartment in the 100 block of North Kimberly Avenue.

Recovered property: A 26-inch Plush bicycle was recovered at a home in the 500 block of London Drive.

July 14

Drug offense: Daniel Gonzalez, 23,of 233 S. Garland Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on charges of drug paraphernalia and marijuana and Elvis Cruz, 27, of 723 Harlem St., Youngstown was charged with drug abuse of marijuana.

Fraud: A Pay Pal account was opened fraudulently at a home in the 1000 block of Cedarwood Drive.

Burglary: A television was stolen from a home in the 2000 block of Innwood Drive.

Breaking and entering: Shon Yaksich, 38, of 326 Forest Hill Drive, was arrested on a charge of breaking and entering.

Theft: A book bag containing an Xbox and three games was stolen at a home in the 2000 block of South Meridian Road.

Warrant: Nakeba Cochrane, 34, of 2508 Cooper St., Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant charging him with making false alarms.

July 15

Drug offense: Carlos Bell, 31, of 2144 Niles Road, S.E., Warren, was charged with possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and carrying a concealed weapon, Robert Daniels, 33, of 2144 Niles Road, S.E., Warren, was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and Traver Williams, 35, of 1508 Deerfield Ave., S.W., Warren, was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Disturbance: Two males were fighting in the parking lot in the 2000 block of Compass West.

Theft: A mini refrigerator was stolen from Econo Lodge, 54311‚Ñ2 Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft: A wallet was stolen while the owner was at work at Victoria House, 5295 Ashley Circle.

Theft: A metal futon frame was stolen at a home in the 50 block of North Kimberly Avenue.
