The Canfield Baseball Club honored Canfield High School senior David Allison for his volunteerism in baseball during a special presentation June 27 between championship games at the club.

Allison is a member of the Canfield High School varsity baseball team as a statistician, a position he held for the last two years and will continue in during his senior year.

“The CBC would like to recognize David Allison for his volunteerism in baseball in our community,” said Canfield Baseball Club President Richard Seaman. “This comes as no surprise since his family, who owns Allison Brothers, steps up and does big things for the CBC and the town they grew up in and are raising their family in. It is no wonder that their son, David, is a vital volunteer for the Canfield High baseball program.

“David is the varsity baseball statistician and he takes good care of his fellow teammates by calculating batting averages and other stats. It is not hard to imagine why he is such a great volunteer — he sees his parents and family volunteering every day in our community.”

Allison received his varsity letter in baseball and a special trophy, both awarded by the Canfield Baseball Club.
