Youngstown lifts boil-water alert

YOUNGSTOWN — The boil water alert for those on the city’s South Side and Cornersburg as well as in part of Boardman is lifted. The alert was issued Saturday after a major water-line break occurred on Volney Road. Water samples were examined and no contaminants were found, according to the city water department.
