christmas in july At Protestant Family Service

Protestant Family Service of the Greater Youngstown Area Inc. is conducting its annual Christmas in July drive for monetary gifts, nonperishable food items, cleaning supplies and hygiene products. Valley churches, clubs, service organizations support PFS with donations of items and funds. The PFS office is at 496 Glenwood Ave., Youngstown. Call 330-746-4600.

Among needed items: Deodorant, toothpaste, paper products, disposable razors, face soap, shampoo, laundry and dish soaps, cleaning products, gasoline cards, Similac Advanced Blue Label and disposable diapers, sizes 4 and 5. Supplies needed for the PFS office are postage stamps, brown bags and 81/2-by-11-inch white copy paper.

Matching funds: Youngstown Foundation will provide a 5 percent match for monetary donation of $100 or more to Protestant Family Service. Checks may be made out to Youngstown Foundation with PFS in the memo line. Send donations to Youngstown Foundation, P.O. 1162, Youngstown, OH 44503.
