“The Tsunami and the Cherry Blossom” (10 p.m., hbo): “The Tsunami and the Cherry Blossom” is an Oscar- nominated documentary short that chronicles how some Japanese citizens drew the courage to revive and rebuild from cherry- blossom season, shortly after the largest earthquake in their country’s history.

Hookah Weekend at Nelson Ledges

NELSON

Nelson Ledges Quarry Park will present Summer Hookah Weekend July 27-29, featuring Ekoostik Hookah headlining Friday and Saturday nights.

Buckethead also will perform Saturday.

Rounding out the weekend lineup are Zach Deputy, The MiZ Band, Chappo, Turbine and more.

Admission is $55 for Friday through Sunday, or $45 for Saturday through Sunday.

There is no extra charge for camping.

The Shepherd of the Valley, 7148 West Blvd., will host free concerts by the Calypso Gypsies Steel Drum Band at 7 p.m. July 24, and the Canfield Community Band at 7 p.m. Aug. 7.

Concertgoers should bring a lawn chair.
