17-year-old girl shot in the head in Warren

WARREN

Warren police are investigating the shooting of a teen girl Saturday evening.

The 17-year-old female was reportedly walking in the are of Hamilton Avenue Southwest shortly after 10 p.m., when someone fired shots from a passing vehicle hitting the girl in the head. The car sped away after the shots were fired.

Police have not made any arrests and have not released any information.

The girl was taken to Trumbull Memorial Hospital for treatment.
