Girard Senior Citizens will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Eagles Hall, 26 W. Wilson Ave. July birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged, and bingo and cards will be played. Those attending are asked to take a sack lunch and beverage. Reservations will be taken for the corn roast planned for Aug. 15.
Happy Wanderers will meet at noon Friday for a carry-in dinner at Corner House Christian Church. On the dinner committee are Wayne and Mila Prill, Nancy Murray, Bob Rossey, Bob Cassidy, Nancy Silvashy, Bev Creed, Anne DeLuco, Caroline Charles, Betty and Frank Toman, Sara Bowser and Carol Balluch.
