Bike run to benefit United Way, AFL-CIO

The Western Reserve Building and Construction Trades will have its second annual Motorcycle Bike Run Sunday to benefit the needy through the United Way of Youngstown and the AFL-CIO Community Services.

Registration starts at 9 a.m. at the Operating Engineers Local 66, 291 McClurg Road. Panera Bread will provide breakfast. The first bike will leave at 11 a.m. The poker run is 118 miles long and will start and finish at the Operating Engineers Local 66 with stops at Faces Lounge in Newton Falls, Ben’s Restaurant and Bar on Route 224 in Berlin Lake, Mark’s Landing at Guilford Lake and Backyard Bar and Grill in Poland. The last bike will arrive at 4 p.m. followed by a prizes, a raffle and dinner.

The cost is $15 per rider and $5 per passenger. The first 50 riders to register will receive a T-shirt. Donations of toiletries will be accepted. To register call Tara Mady at 330-746-8494.
