Westside Citizens Coalition cleanup is Saturday

YOUNGSTOWN — The Westside Citizens Coalition will host a cleanup event along Mahoning Avenue from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday.

Volunteers will meet at 8:30 a.m. at Mahoning Valley Lanes, 2617 Mahoning Ave. Necessary supplies will be provided for cleanup. Beverages and pizza will be available for event participants.

The cleanup will gather members of the business community and other West Side neighborhood groups in order to benefit the community, while also recruiting membership and bringing awareness to citywide issues.
