Rescue mission offers PGA Tour tickets

The Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley has partnered with the PGA Tour for a fundraising program called Tickets Fore Charity. The mission will sell tickets to the PGA Tour’s WGC-Bridgestone Invitational golf tournament Aug. 1 through 5 in Akron and will keep 75 percent of the net proceeds of any ticket purchased on its behalf. The code word is “Pitch.” The following ticket types are being offered: weekly grounds ticket, $70 (normally $95 at the gate), and any day grounds ticket, $20 (normally $40 at the gate). Ticket sales will close Aug. 1.
