Big Reach Center earns cash through recycling program

Staff report

Greenford

The Big Reach Center of Hope has been earning free cash by participating in the FundingFactory Recycling Program.

The center collects empty cartridges, cellphones, small electronics and laptop computers from the community and sends the waste products to FundingFactory in exchange for cash.

Companies interested in demonstrating a commitment to the environment as well as supporting the Center of Hope can participate free of charge in the FundingFactory Business Support Program.

FundingFactory will send each supporting business free, prepaid shipping labels for the return of collected cartridges, cellphones, small electronics and laptops. By donating to the Big Reach Center of Hope, businesses help the center earn additional funds to fight hunger in the Mahoning Valley.

Individuals or businesses also can drop off cartridges, cellphones, small electronics and laptops at the center, 11767 Lisbon Road.
