Grow Youngstown's 2nd annual 'Meet the Growers' fundraoser Sunday

Grow Youngstown will have its second annual “Meet the Growers” summer fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Vintage Estate Wine and Beer, 7317 South Ave., Boardman.

The event includes wine tasting and a variety of dishes prepared with locally sourced food. Participants will have a chance to meet area farmers who supply food for Grow Youngstown’s Community Supported Agriculture program. The event also will feature a basket raffle and music by Brady’s Leap and Lawtz.

Grow Youngstown is the Mahoning Valley’s largest community-supported agriculture program. Grow Youngstown’s CSA provides a weekly basket of locally grown fruits and vegetables to more than 150 area families.
