Saxon Club Branch 22 Ladies Auxiliary is looking for vendors for its fall craft show scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 10 at the Saxon Club, 710 S. Meridian Road, Austintown. Tables may be rented for $25 through Oct. 31; then the cost will increase to $35. For information call 330-788-4274.

FESTIVALS/FAIRS

Harvey S. Firestone Festival of the Arts in Columbiana will take place 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 4 in the park. Artists, crafters and antique dealers, a variety of food vendors and an afternoon of free entertainment will be available. This juried show has a limit of 250 spaces. For the application fee of $75, vendors receive a 20-by-20-foot space, free parking and dealers assistance. A cash prize will go to the most attractive booth in each of the three categories. Leetonia Artisans Festival Committee is seeking arts, crafts, antiques and collectibles vendors for the 27th annual show, set for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 23, rain or shine, at Leetonia Wick Park on Walnut Street. Paradise United Church of Christ, 10020 New Buffalo Road, Canfield, will have a lawn festival from 4 to 7 p.m. July 21 at the church. The event will include food, a raffle, a basket auction, country store, bake sale, games and a 3:30 concert by God’s Quad. The festival will occur rain or shine.

RAFFLES

Hubbard High School Alumni Association is selling tickets for a chance to win a golf and vacation package to the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs. The three-night stay for four people includes one round of golf per person, one 50-minute Swedish massage per person and $500 spending money. The package is good Sunday through Thursday on a space-available basis through May 2014. The drawing will take place Oct. 13 at the Hubbard High School Alumni Banquet. Tickets are $10 each and may be purchased in Hubbard at Joe’s Barber Shop, Hubbard Soaring Eagle and Deer Creek Golf Course and in Youngstown at Golden Dawn Restaurant. Proceeds will benefit the association’s scholarship fund. Second Chance Animal Rescue is selling raffle tickets for $5 through the end of July. There will be 1,000 tickets sold, and the winning ticket will be drawn Aug. 8. Winner need not be present. Ohio State University Alumni Club of Trumbull and Mahoning Counties is conducting its annual benefit football ticket raffle. The grand prize is two President’s Club season football tickets good for all eight home games. Second prize is two tickets to the University of Miami home opener Sept. 1. Raffle tickets are $20 each or three for $50; only 600 tickets will be sold. Proceeds will benefit the club’s scholarship fund. SALES

Alzheimer Network will have its annual garage sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday and Friday and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Route 62, Canfield. Proceeds will support the local services of the Alzheimer Network with a portion designated for research. Donations of clean, salable items will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today and Tuesday at the church. No pickup of items is available.

Berlin Center Historical Society is sponsoring community-wide yard sales on July 27 and 28. To be listed on the maps, call 330-547-4593 by Sunday. The society also is selling Westerwald Crocks imprinted with “Berlin Center, Ohio — 1828.” The price is $15 for a honey pot and $20 for a quart-size crock. Sts. Peter and Paul Jr. UOL will sponsor a trunk-sale fundraiser for the church’s youth group from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 21 at the Orthodox Center parking lot at 1025 N. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown. Participants can load up their trunks and sell items from the backs of their vehicles. Cars, trucks and vans will be assigned one spot for $10, and RVs and campers will be assigned two spots for $15. Junior Women’s League of Canfield is recruiting vendors for the 43rd annual Fall Market on the Canfield Village Green. This year’s event will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 15. Boardman Rotary Relay for Life Team is sponsoring a bus trip to Rivers Casino on July 21. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society. The cost of the trip is $30 and includes $15 in free play plus a food voucher. E.B. Family Life Center will sponsor a bus trip Aug. 18 to the 30th African Festival at the Philip Hart Plaza in Detroit. The bus departs at 7:30 a.m. from the center at 7 S.
