Woman set on fire at western, Pa. gas pumps
KITTANNING, Pa. (AP) — Dispatchers say emergency crews are investigating a report that a woman either caught on fire or set herself on fire at a gasoline pump outside a western Pennsylvania supermarket.
Police in East Franklin Township, about 40 miles northeast of Pittsburgh, have not immediately returned calls and emails for comment. An official with the Shop ‘n Save store in the Franklin Village Mall says he’s been told by police not to comment.
Dispatchers say the incident was reported shortly after 11 a.m. today.
The woman’s identity and condition were not immediately available.
There were no immediate reports of other injuries connected to the fire.
