Scrappers can't hold lead, fall to Connecticut

The Mahoning Valley entered the eighth inning holding a 4-1 lead but were unable to hold on to it and fell to the Connecticut Tigers 5-4 on Monday at Eastwood Field.

Connecticut scored the winning run in the top of the ninth inning when Tyler Hanover singled home Bennett Pickar.
