Power is coming back to areas of central and southwest Ohio more than a week after violent storms hit the state.

American Electric Power-Ohio says it has about 31,000 who still don’t have electricity. Most are in Athens, Guernsey, Licking and Muskingum counties.

The utility says it had 660,000 customers affected by the storms at one point.
