Ohio deputies capture escaped jail inmate

HAMILTON, Ohio (AP) — Sheriff’s deputies in southwestern Ohio have arrested a jail inmate who escaped when he walked away from a work detail last week.

Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones says his deputies found 18-year-old Zackary Raybourne walking along some railroad tracks in Hamilton, north of Cincinnati, and arrested him without incident this morning.

Jones says Raybourne walked away from a work detail on July 2 in neighboring Warren County, where he’d been housed at a drug treatment and community corrections center.

Officials say Raybourne has been sent back to Warren County to face charges.
