Lanney-Clemmer wedding plans are announced

NEW WATERFORD

Howard E. and Lisa J. Lanney of New Waterford are announcing the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Erin Olivia Lanney, to Nicholas James Clemmer of Columbiana.

The prospective groom is the son of Terri and Richard Spack of Salem and Dale Clemmer of East Palestine.

First Christian Church in Columbiana will be the setting of the Aug. 4 wedding. An evening reception will follow at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center in Boardman.

The bride-to-be earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from Mount Union College and a bachelor’s degree in education from Youngstown State University. She is employed as a kindergarten teacher at Stambaugh Charter Academy in Youngstown and as a front desk receptionist at Sheely’s Furniture and Appliance in North Lima.

The future groom served in the U.S. Army and spent 15 months in Ramadi, Iraq. He works as an apprentice with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 64 of Youngstown.
