Elizabeth Carr and Chris Conner, both of Wellington, New Zealand, exchanged wedding vows before Lawrie Hampton, the bride’s grandfather, during a ceremony at 3 p.m. Feb. 18.

The service took place at the home of Rob and Sue Allison of Ohoka.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. Rod and Jenny Carr of Christchurch, New Zealand. Parents of the bridegroom are Doug and Kathy Conner of Boardman.

A lace train detailed the bride’s beaded white gown.

Best man was Joshua Congelio.

Mrs. Conner graduated from the University of Otago with a degree in medicine. She is a physician at Wellington Hospital in Wellington, New Zealand.

Her husband served in the U.S. Army for four years and is attending Victoria University. He is a GIS analyst with the New Zealand Department of Conservation.

The newlyweds live in Wellington, North Island, New Zealand.
