Yellow Creek Theatre's 8th season opens tonight
POLAND
The parking lot and area behind the Poland Library are about to get a little busier during the library’s off-hours.
Yellow Creek Theatre opens its eighth summer season at 9 p.m. today with a screening of the 1953 film “The Band Wagon,” starring Fred Astaire and Cyd Charisse.
The theater projects classic movies onto a support column of the U.S. Route 224 bridge that crosses Yellow Creek. The free screenings begin at 9 p.m. and will continue every Friday until Aug. 24 when “Meet Me in St. Louis” starring Judy Garland and Margaret O’Brien will be shown.
