Stevens, Reynolds to host theater awards

The co-emcees for the ninth annual Marquee Awards, which honor excellence in community theater in the Mahoning Valley, will be Glenn Stevens and Regina Reynolds of 21 WFMJ-TV.

Stevens, a reporter and anchor on the station, co-hosts two cooking shows with Reynolds: “Stir it Up” and “Kids Can Cook.”

The awards ceremony, presented by the Youngstown Area Community Theatre Alliance, will be Aug. 11 at the Family Life Center at St. Michael Church in Canfield.

The nominees will be revealed July 18 at an event at Inner Circle Pizza, 1816 Boardman-Poland Road in Poland.

The public is welcome to attend the event, which will begin at 5 p.m.

Although the awards ceremony in August will be attended mainly by actors and technical personnel, a some tickets are available to the public.
