WKTL-FM Boosters elect slate of officers

STRUTHERS

The WKTL-FM Boosters had its organization meeting June 25, at which time the following officers were elected: Larry Shearer, president; Helga Wengler, vice president; Elizabeth J. Cibulas, secretary; and Wolfgang Wengler, treasurer.

The WKTL Boosters is a nonprofit organization that provides support to the WKTL station, which is owned and operated by the Struthers Board of Education.

WKTL-FM, a noncommercial radio station, is located at frequency 90.7 FM. Adult volunteers provide music every Saturday, featuring sounds of the Big Band era and international ethnic music from around the world.

The Saturday schedule follows:

Big Band Show: 7:30 to 9 a.m.

Irish Program: 9 to 10:30 a.m.

German Melodies: 10:30 to noon.

Hungarian Program: noon to 1:30 p.m.

Spanish Program: 1:30 to 3 p.m.

Italian Program: 3 to 4:30 p.m.

Polka Program: 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Tamburitzan Program: 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Ukrainian Program: 7:30 to 9 p.m.

Slovak Program: 9 to 11 p.m.
