Megan Elizabeth Marsh of Cincinnati and Dr. Andrew Blesy Powelson of Kent exchanged wedding vows before the Rev. Terry Carlisle during a ceremony at 5:30 p.m. June 2 in Glendale Lyceum in Glendale, where a reception followed.

After a honeymoon to Rome, Italy, and a Mediterranean cruise, the couple live in Charleston, S.C.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Marsh of Hartford, Ohio. The bridegroom is a son of Dr. and Mrs. Myron Powelson of Zanesville, Ohio.

The bride wore an ivory tulle ball gown with satin ribbon.

Gretchen Heacock was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Amelia Powelson, the sister of the bridegroom, and Sara Warner. The attendants wore pale pink.

Dr. Rene Cuadra served as best man. Groomsmen were M.H. Powelson, the groom’s brother, and Steven Folz. Ushers were Dr. Gabriel Mikhael and Dr. Elliot Kay.

Mrs. Powelson graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering. She is a clinical specialist in electrophysiology and cardiac rhythm management at St. Jude Medical in Charleston.

Dr. Powelson earned a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering at Case Western and a doctorate of medicine from Northeast Ohio Medical University. He is an anesthesiology resident at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
