Centenary United Methodist Church, 40 S. Market St., East Palestine, is leasing American flags to residents of East Palestine and Unity Township.

Flag: The 3-by-5-feet American flag is secured on a 10-foot staff anchored to a pipe in the ground.

For holidays: The flags are put up about a week before and taken down a week after the patriotic holidays of Memorial Day in May, Flag Day in June, the Fourth of July, Labor Day in September and Veterans Day in November.

Cost: $25 per year.
