Three Trumbull County MetroParks will be closed July 16-18 for parking-lot maintenance work.

They are Canoe City on North Leavitt Road in Leavittsburg; Clarence Darrow MetroPark on Educational Highway in Champion Township; and the Oakfield Trailhead on the Western Reserve Greenway Bike Trail, Hyde-Oakfield Road in Bristol Township.

The Western Reserve Greenway from Hyde-Oakfield Road north to the Trumbull/Ashtabula County Line also will be closed those three days for maintenance.

The park district will seal and re-stripe the parking lots and bike trail. Funding for the bike trail came from the WOW Bike Ride Committee.
