Hubbard pool plans free swimming day

Hubbard Community Pool, 250 Hall Ave., has scheduled its 8th annual Summer Sizzler from 1 to 6 p.m. July 14.

There will be free swimming at the pool for everyone, along with a large basket auction filled with gift certificates from area merchants, miscellaneous baskets and more.

Food will be sold for $1 and includes rigatoni with meatballs, nachos and cheese, hot dogs, pizza and ice cream cones.

Proceeds go toward improvements at the pool.
