Wine, beer taste to benefit animals

For the Dogs Rescue will present its second annual wine and beer tasting from 3 to 5 p.m. Feb. 19 at Vintage Estate Wine and Beer, 7317 South Ave.

Ticket prices, which are $20 per person, include seven tastes of wine or beer and appetizers.

Proceeds go to homeless pets of Mahoning Valley.

Tickets can be bought online at www.forthedogs.petfinder.com or contact an FTD member to mail tickets.

The event also will include a basket auction.
