The marriage of Tiffany Marie Day and Nicholas Jack Linville, both of Gainesville, Fla., was solemnized by the Rev. Kazimierz Ligeza on Oct. 15, 2011, at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine.

Before leaving on a wedding trip to Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands, the couple received congratulations at a reception at the Casa Monica Hotel.

The bride is the daughter of Richard and Diane Day of Poland. Parents of the groom are Terry and Joy Linville of Zephyrhills, Fla.

Bridal attendants, dressed in black dresses, were Amy Smith, the matron of honor, and the bridesmaids: Erica Bailen; Kristie Day, the bride’s sister-in-law; and Amanda Linville, the groom’s sister. The flower girl was Katrina Linville, the groom’s niece.

Darren Watts attended the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Michael Day and Timothy Day, brothers of the bride, and Jeff Linville, the groom’s brother.

The bride is a pediatric gastroenterologist at the University of Florida. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Kent State University and a medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine.

The groom holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Florida and is a historian at SEARCH, Inc., in Gainesville.

The couple are living in Gainesville.
