A man who walked into First Place Bank at 185 E. Market St. at 10:50 a.m. Monday and robbed a teller of money from her drawer reportedly turned himself in later that day. Warren police could not be reached Monday night to confirm the arrest. The man had handed the teller a note demanding money but did not show anyone a weapon. Police received a witness account of the man leaving the bank on foot, but another account indicated he got onto a bicycle. The man had left with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 330-394-2521.
