Presentation on genealogical research scheduled

YOUNGSTOWN

Timothy A. Seman will present “An Introduction to Genealogical Research” for Park Vista Retirement Community’s monthly Breakfast Club at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 9 in the Community Gathering Room, 1216 Fifth Ave.

A complimentary continental breakfast will be served. Registration by Thursday is required; call 330-746-2944, ext. 1555.

Seman, a research and reference librarian, genealogy and local history specialist at Youngstown’s Main Library, will detail the first steps to take when starting genealogical research. He will also address how to best use local informational resources, libraries and Internet.
