Workshop reset

The session, originally planned Jan. 21, was canceled because of inclement weather.

The theme is “Apply God’s Word thru Service Inside and Outside of the Church.”

Jewish/Christian Studies North will focus on the role of feasts and fests in the Jewish, Christian, Islam, Hindu and Bahai traditions in a program on time, calendars and family planned Wednesday at Temple El-Emeth, 3970 Logan Way.

Participants gather at 12:30 p.m. with the study at 1.

The Rev. Remus Bleahu and other Orthodox priests will speak on Eastern Orthodox traditions.

Interfaith tea

Sister Patricia McNicholas, executive director of Beatitude House, will be guest speaker at the 67th annual women’s Interfaith Tea at 1 p.m. Feb. 7 in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 343 Via Mount Carmel.

The church’s St. Monica Guild will host the free event, which starts with the program in the church and then moves to the social hall for fellowship and refreshments.
