“Community Connection” (7 a.m. Sunday on 21 WFMJ-TV; and 10 a.m. Tuesday on Time Warner Cable community access channel): Youngstown State University will celebrate African-American History Month with numerous programs and events. YSU professor Victor Wan Ta-Tah will join host Madonna Chism Pinkard to discuss some of the events and encourage the community to participate.

Next, Katrina Walker, outreach coordinator for Hospice of the Valley, will discuss the annual Covenant Prayer Breakfast for community leaders, which hopes to educate about the value of hospice care, grief counseling and loss.

Finally, Ohio State University Extension Education Coordinator Janice Hanna will discuss 4H programs for inner-city youths and the success they have experienced with new programming.

They will discuss healthful eating. “Sunday Morning with Dee” (8 a.m. Sunday on WKBN-TV 27): Host Dee Crawford’s guest will be Kimberly Calvert of the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber. She will discuss the benefits of being a member of the Chamber.
