East Side teen killed in shooting


YOUNGSTOWN

A 17-year-old male is dead after he was shot outside an apartment on the city’s East Side.

Police Chief Rod Foley said the juvenile was killed around 2:15 a.m. today outside 1040 Kendis Circle.

His name wasn’t released as of Saturday evening.

The victim apparently was attending a party at the residence, Foley said.

The chief said police don’t have any suspects at this time, but they spent today interviewing people present at the time of the shooting.

No other details were available as of this evening.
