RICHARD BALDWIN

Brief biography

Baldwin will be honored this weekend at the VFW Mid- Winter Conference in Columbus. Some personal highlights:

Family: Married to the former Ruth E. McIntyre, and they live in Canfield Township; two adult children, Jennifer R. Baldwin and Brian R. Baldwin, both of Youngstown.

Awards: Honorable mention for the National Association of Police Organization’s Top Cop Award in 2008 and the Ohio Distinguished Law Enforcement Service Award from the Ohio attorney general in 2009.

Memberships: Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 28 and VFW Post 9947 in Cornersburg where he is Quartermaster. He is a life member of Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 137, and also is a member of AMVETS Post 44 and the Ohio Army National Guard Enlisted Association.
