ALLIANCES

Ohio Cultural Alliance will gather at 6 p.m. Feb. 6 for a dinner meeting at The Georgetown, 5945 South Ave., Boardman. The topic will be The Honorable David Tod, and the speaker will be Sallie Tod Dutton, great, great, great, great granddaughter of the governor of Ohio from 1862 to 1864. ASSOCIATIONS

American Association of University Women, Youngstown Branch, will meet at 10 a.m. Feb. 4 in the gathering room at Park Vista, 1216 Fifth Ave., Youngstown. After the continental breakfast and business meeting, Michael Hripko, director of Research and Technology-based Economic Development at Youngstown State University, will speak on “What’s New at YSU — Innovative Student and Business Projects.” Denise Walters Dobson will be hostess.
