Warren schools set public meeting Monday

WARREN

Warren City Schools invites anyone interested in the success of Warren students to attend a program on Safe and Inviting Schools at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Warren G. Harding High School, 860 Elm Road.

The program ties in with the school district’s anti-bullying campaign.

Dr. Cathy Hamilton of New Castle, Ind., a longtime public-school teacher, will lead the discussion.

Hamilton is known for her work in differentiated instruction related to at-risk learners. She served 10 years on a state-level committee aimed at creating inclusive environments.

The school district is working to ensure that all students are getting what they need to be safe and successful each day, and the program will focus on what it means for students to feel safe and be “master taught.”
