ValleyCare Trumbull Memorial Hospital’s Healthy Woman program, “Have a Skin-tastic New Year,” is at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Elm Road Medical Park, Building C, 2662 Elm Road.

Speakers are plastic surgeon Dr. Peter Sarkos and radiologist Dr. Roger P. Tokars. The program includes ways to care for skin all year, skin health and what to watch for. To register for the free program online go to www.TrumbullMemorial.net/HealthyWoman or call 330-841-5600.

Free hot lunch

Alpha and Omega First Baptist Church, 3120 Winton Ave., will have a free hot lunch and give away groceries and clothes from 11 a.m. to noon today. Recipients must bring photo identification.

Help for veterans

NEW CASTLE, PA.

State Rep. Chris Sainato said help will be available for veterans with concerns about employment, education and other issues from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at his constituent-service office, 20 Mercer St., Z-Penn Building.
