Katie Ann Sebastiano and Gregory Heddaeus, both of Pittsburgh, exchanged wedding vows Oct. 15, 2011, at St. Patrick Church in Hubbard.
The Rev. Timothy O’Neill officiated at the afternoon ceremony for the daughter of Patrick and Marian Sebastiano of Hubbard and the son of Scott and Cindy Heddaeus of Upper St. Clair, Pa.
The couple later received congratulations at the Avalon at Buhl Park in Hermitage, Pa., where a reception took place in their honor.
The bride wore an A-line styled gown of satin charmeuse embellished with crystallized embroidered leaves that trailed the sweetheart neckline
Bridal attendants, attired in sage green dresses, included Candace Younkins, maid of honor, and Laura Dilulio, matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Abigail Faett, Ashley Democko, Carrie Keenan and Caitlin Fredericka.
Sharing the duties of best man were William and Matthew Heddaeus, brothers of the groom. Groomsmen were Nicholas Sebastiano, the bride’s brother; Jeffrey Heddaeus and George Aspiotes, cousins of the groom; and Justin Lloyd.
The bride graduated as valedictorian from Duquesne University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance. She earned her juris doctorate from Notre Dame Law School and is an attorney at Thorpe, Reed & Armstrong, LLC, in Pittsburgh.
Mr. Heddaeus is a graduate of Bowling Green State University with a degree in construction management. He is a project engineer for Carl Walker Construction Co. in Pittsburgh.
After a honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii, the couple are making their home in Pittsburgh.
