Dr. Jiaxi Ding and Kenneth Huber, both of Pittsburgh, exchanged wedding vows June 18, 2011, at Fellows Riverside Garden in Mill Creek Park. The Rev. Gary Rozier performed the noon ceremony for the daughter of Dr. Shixi and Yang Ding of Canton and the son of Karen and Jan Seidler of Youngstown, and the late Kenneth Huber.

A reception took place in the D.D. and Velma Davis Center at the same location.

The bride’s strapless soft organza A-line gown featured tiers and a red sash.

Dr. Janice Feng, wearing a red dress, attended the bride as maid of honor.

Matthew Huber, the groom’s brother, performed the duties of best man.

The bride, who is retaining her maiden name, earned a bachelor’s degree from Case Western Reserve University, and a medical degree from Ohio State University School of Medicine. She is a resident at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh.

The groom also earned a bachelor’s degree from Case Western Reserve, and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. He is an engineer for Westinghouse in Cranberry, Pa.

After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple live in Pittsburgh.
