Summer meal planning will be meeting topic

YOUNGSTOWN

Neighborhood Ministries and the Mahoning County Community Action Partnership will host a summer meal planning meeting from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at MYCAP, 101 Federal Plaza East, Suite 200.

The meeting is open to former summer meal program sites and groups interested in receiving meals for their summer youth programs. Information will be available to assist summer youth programs with planning early by providing an overview of the summer food program, and identifying the number of potential program sites and which sites might like to serve as their own sponsor or as a sponsor for other sites.

A representative from the Ohio Department of Education will be present to assist sites interested in being their own food sponsor. Attendance at this meeting is not mandatory to receive meals. To make a reservation or for more information, contact Neighborhood Ministries at 330-755-8696.
