Easter Seals offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays in Columbiana and Mahoning counties for people 60 or older and their spouses (regardless of age). Reservations are required three days in advance. A $2 donation is suggested per meal.

Call 330-884-2513 to make reservations, for serving locations or to arrange for home-delivered meals for seniors who are homebound.

Transportation is available by calling 330-884-2511.

The program office is located at 299 Edwards St., Youngstown.

COLUMBIANA COUNTY

Wednesday, Jan. 25: Beef and pepper patty with gravy, lima beans, unsweetened mixed fruit, rye bread and milk.

Thursday, Jan. 26: Sweet and sour pork, baby carrots, seasoned potatoes, unsweetened applesauce, corn muffin and milk.

Friday, Jan. 27: Grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, unsweetened pears, rye bread and milk

Saturday, Jan. 28: Salami on a bun, fresh fruit, coleslaw, macaroni salad and milk.

Monday, Jan. 30: Hamburger patty on a bun, baked beans, zesty potatoes, unsweetened pears and milk.

Tuesday, Jan. 31: Macaroni and cheese, stewed tomatoes, canned peas, unsweetened pineapple, wheat bread and milk.

MAHONING COUNTY

Wednesday, Jan. 25: Beef patty, baked potato, peas, unsweetened pears, oatmeal bread, orange cookie or sugar-free cookie and milk.

Thursday, Jan. 26: Glazed chicken, spudsters, broccoli, fresh orange, bread, star crunch cookie or sugar-free cookie and milk.

Friday, Jan. 27: Breaded fish on a bun, green beans sliced carrots, unsweetened applesauce, gelatin and milk.

Saturday, Jan. 28: Turkey breast on a bun, tossed salad, carrot-raisin salad, unsweetened fruit, regular or sugar-free cookie and milk.

Monday, Jan. 30: Barbecue chicken, winter vegetables, sliced carrots, bread, unsweetened pears, cupcake or angel food cake and milk.

Tuesday, Jan. 31: Manicotti, diced carrots, peas, Italian bread, unsweetened peaches, cookie or angel food cake and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers well-balanced meals at 12 locations in Trumbull County for people 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.50 per meal.
