SENIOR CITIZENS


Commercial Intertech Retirees will meet at noon Tuesday at St. Mark’s Fellowship Hall on Logan Way. Lou Pizzuto will preside, and Gloria Wielbruda and Roberta Shick will give reports. Luncheon hostesses are Shick and Connie DiPiero. All Commercial Intertech and Parker Hannifin retirees are welcome. To report illnesses call DiPiero at 330-788-2340.

Liberty Friends will meet for friendship, cards and games at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Liberty Presbyterian Church, 1451 Churchill-Hubbard Road, Youngstown. Members should take a sack lunch; coffee will be provided. All are welcome.

Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played, and Marilyn Boggs will give the devotions. There will be a pizza party at noon. No affiliation with the church is required for participation. Public Employees Retirees Inc., Mahoning Chapter 18, will meet at noon Feb. 7 at the Youngstown Saxon Club, 710 Meridian Road, Austintown. Guest speaker will be Youngstown Police Chief Rod Foley. The meal is a buffet of ziti, meatballs, baked chicken, salad, rolls and butter, coffee or tea, and cherry pie. The cost is $9 for members, associate members and guests, payable at the door. Sts. Peter and Paul Seniors will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Ukrainian Center. Ann Smith will preside, and lunch will be served by the officers, Theresa Vivacqua, Pat Hoffman and Laura Dulay. Guests are welcome.
