Las Vegas-style dinner-shows in Boardman

Staff report

POLAND

Ciao Promotions has booked a series of three Las Vegas-style dinner-shows this spring, each to be held at The Georgetown, 5945 South Ave., Boardman.

Tickets to all shows can be reserved with credit card by calling Ciao at 330-757-2779. They can also be purchased at Trolio’s, 35 W. McKinley Way, Poland. All three shows can be purchased for the discount rate of $110.

First up will be “The Legends In Concert” on March 22. The tribute show features look-alike and sound-alike entertainers who will re-enact performances by several stars, including Rod Stewart, Aretha Franklin, Jimmy Durante, George Burns and Cher.

Frank Pisani will serve as master of ceremonies.

Tickets are $45 for dinner and the show ($40 for senior and groups of more than eight).

On April 21, “Elvis: Blue Hawaii” returns.

When Ciao Promotions brought the show to town last year, it was the biggest show the company ever did.

Starring Don Rose, “Elvis: Blue Hawaii” is one of the finest Elvis tribute shows today.

With his stage charisma and strong voice, Rose recalls the King of Rock’n’Roll. His show comes complete with Polynesian dancers, Hawaiian natives, a four-piece band, comedy and all the hits Elvis performed during his visits to the islands.

There will be two performances of “Elvis: Blue Hawaii”: a luncheon show at noon ($35), and a dinner show at 6 p.m. ($45).

The final show in the series will be The Rat Pack, a tribute to Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr., and also Liza Minelli. Because this show is always a sell-out, there will be two performances on June 7: a luncheon show at noon ($35) and a dinner show at 6 p.m. ($45).
