Free income tax preparation offered

One Step to Life, in partnership with the Ohio Benefit Bank, again will offer free income tax preparation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Appointments will be taken, and walk-ins also are welcome.

One Step to Life is a nonprofit organization dedicated to overcoming violence. Its mission statement says it aims to meet the needs of at-risk children, youths and their families who live primarily in the inner city. They are encouraged to participate in volunteer work, nonviolent activities, job training, economic opportunities and sports.
