Montessori event

youngstown

Botany, geography, geometry and pre-algebra are generally considered high school subjects. But from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, preschool teachers at The Montessori School of the Mahoning Valley will demonstrate how these subjects have been taught to typical 3- and 4-year-olds in the Mahoning Valley using the scientifically developed Montessori Method for the last 35 years.

“We have been serving families in the Mahoning Valley for 35 years, and the Montessori Method has been successful worldwide for over 100 years – scientific research is just catching up with Montessori education,” said Amy-Anne Kibler, the school’s executive director.

The school is at 2008 Lynn Ave.
