WARREN

Michael Notar, business manager of Warren City Schools, will take over Monday as principal at Warren G. Harding High School after the resignation of Ruth Zitnik.

On Friday, Superintendent Bruce Thomas used the school district’s automated voicemail system to notify families in the school district that Zitnik had resigned.

Zitnik became Harding principal at the start of the 2006-2007 school year after serving as interim superintendent in the Maplewood Local School District and Maplewood High School principal for two years.

She was also principal of Warren Western Reserve Middle School five years and work-study coordinator 12 years at the Trumbull County Educational Service Center.

Notar previously served as principal at Niles McKinley High School and superintendent for Brookfield Local Schools.
