John F. Kennedy Catholic School will host the nationally renowned “Bullies 2 Buddies” program Monday.
Izzy Kalman, creator and founder, will present to the upper and lower campuses. The program philosophy is consistent with the teachings of all major schools of psychology, philosophy and religion.
It teaches the practical application of the Golden Rule, the ultimate rule of morality and harmony and of Freedom of Speech, the cornerstone of democracy. The mission is to reduce hostility and promote peace in schools, the workplace, the home and wherever people have to coexist.
Kalman will present to seventh- and eighth-grade students at the Upper Campus (2550 Central Parkway SE, Warren) from 8 to 9 a.m. and will continue to the Lower Campus (3000 Reeves Road, Warren) to speak with third through sixth grades.
The day will conclude with a faculty debriefing from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
