CLUBS

American-Hungarian Club, Donald Avenue, Youngstown, will meet at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the club to install the following officers: Frank Tobias, president; Frank Soos, vice president; Dee Gran, secretary; Irene Nemeth, treasurer; and Frank Patterson, house manager and rental officer, who can be reached at 330-799-6112. Poland Women’s Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday. A program will be presented by Shelly Marlow and Jane Coffin from Making Kids Count. Members should take baby items such as diapers, baby food, bottles, bibs, etc., for the kids’ baskets. The meeting hostess is Peg Trego, and co-hostesses are Elaine Baker and Linda Weaver.

Warren Women’s Connection is planning a “Love is in the Air” luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Feb. 13 at DiLucia’s Banquet Room, 2610 Elm Road NE, Warren. Free nursery is available by reservation. Cate Liste will give a presentation on candles. Nina Miller will sing, and Judy Katsaras will speak on “A Dance Teacher’s Amazing Discovery.” The cost of $13 per person is all-inclusive. Youngstown Women’s Connection is having a luncheon, “Heart to Heart,” on Feb. 14 at the Saxon Club, 710 S. Meridian Road, Austintown. Doors will open at 11:15 a.m., and the luncheon begins at noon. Boardman Poland Junior Women’s League will meet at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 6 at The English Pub, 1305 Boardman-Poland Road, Poland. There will be a Valentine’s Day party for women interested in joining. Members are asked to wear red and to take red appetizers and desserts. The club is open to all women over 18 residing in Mahoning, Trumbull or Columbiana counties who are interested in friendship, fun and community involvement in the arts, conservation, education, home life and international and public affairs. The Youngstown Chapter, Rosicrucian Order, AMORC, will have an open public meeting at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Dublin Grange, 6571 Fairground Blvd., Canfield. The program will be a book review of “Spiritual Laws That Govern Humanity and the Universe,” the chapter on “The Law of Love,” written by Dr. Lonnie C. D.A.R.E. Singles Group, a social group for divorced, widowed and separated people, meets at 7:30 p.m. each Thursday at Disciples Christian Church, 565 Boardman-Canfield Road.
