34west Theater Company’s 2012 dinner-theater season at Dutch Village Inn will include everything from rock ’n’ roll musicals to death-defying comedies.

Kicking off the year, and just in time for Valentine’s Day, will be a limited engagement of the frontier-style musical “Abraham and Sarah” on Jan. 27-28 and Feb. 10, 11 and 14.

“Doo Wops and Beauty Shops,” a brand-new 1950s musical, will hit the stage March 21-24, April 18-21 and May 9-12.

“Our goal is always to make people feel good,” said 34west co-founder Stephen Wayne. “We’ve wanted to create a ’50s musical for a while. This show will have folks dancing all the way home.”

Cooling off the summer will be the humorously thrilling “Overboard!” “It’s the story of Jonah in a way you’ve never seen,” said Wayne. “Think Alfred Hitchcock meets ‘Bruce Almighty’ meets ‘The Deadliest Catch.’” This hilarious retelling runs July 18-21, Sept. 19-21 and Oct. 25-27.

The popular “old guys” from last year’s “We Go Everywhere Together” will return in an all-new holiday comedy, “George and Henry Save Christmas,” Nov. 23-Dec. 19. One can’t see and the other can’t hear, and they go everywhere together in this laugh-out-loud holiday adventure.

Dutch Village Inn provides a four-course meal featuring a buffet-style dinner with three entrees. Groups can sit eight or 10 people to a table.

All dinner theaters are in the banquet center of Dutch Village Inn, 150 E. state Route 14. Seating for evening shows begins at 6:45 p.m. with the meal beginning at 7.

Seating for matinees begins at 11:45 a.m. with a meal at noon. Tickets are $40 ($35 matinee); discount given for groups of eight or more.
